Dr. Showjad Mohamed is an Interventional Cardiologist practicing in Thrissur (Trichur) District of Kerala. He is presently Chief Interventional Cardiologist at Rajah Charitable Trust Hospital, Chavakkad (Since 2010). He also the visiting Cardiologist in Guardian Hospital (Moonnupeedika) and Ansar Hospital (Perumpilavu).

In the field of Interventional Cardiology, Dr. Showjad Mohamed has experience and expertise in Coronary Angioplasty, Peripheral Angiogram & Angioplasty, Carotid Angioplasty, Radial Angioplasty and Permanent Pacemaker Implantation. Dr. Showjad has performed over 3,000 Angiograms, and over 1,500 PTCA/stenting as primary operator; he has assisted in many thousands more in terms of Cardio-Surgical support. In addition to his DM from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, he is having Diploma In Diabetology from Annamalai University.
